Govt seek suggestions from stakeholders to compensate academic loss of students | KNO

Srinagar, Sep 14 (KNO): The government has sought suggestions from the concerned stakeholders with regard to compensating of academic losses faced by the students due to the frequent closure of schools. Education Minister, Sakina Itoo according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “This year, a lot of time has got wasted for the students due to the different situations.” “Earlier, the school were closed because of the war like situation followed by the floods in many areas of J&K,” she said. The minister further said, “This has definitely affected the syllabus and in this regard we have sought suggestions from all stakeholders including the parents, students and the general public.” “Whatever will be possible and feasible, government will do it for the betterment of the students,” Itoo said. She further said that during the floods atleast 40 schools have got damaged badly because the mud and silt—(KNO)
